Madison

Madison Adanusa

Executive Director

Dr. Madison Adanusa is a native of Gomoa Asebu in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region of Ghana. Madison is a Specialist in Family Medicine, he is also a Palliative Care initiator and an enthusiastic Geriatric practitioner. He obtained his basic medical education from the University of Ghana Medical School in March 2007 and has been registered with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council since then.

He established the Geriatric Clinic at the Directorate of University Health Services and also leads the clinical team for pain management and palliative care. Dr. Adanusa has lectured on a part time basis in the Departments of Optometry and Physician Assistant Studies of the University of Cape Coast and the Accra College of Medicine. He has served on both Hospital and University committees and made presentations at several academic and professional fora.

Dr. Adanusa is a member of the Society of Family Physicians Ghana (SOFPOG), World Organisation of National Colleges, Academies and Academic Associations of Family Physicians (WONCA) and Ghana Medical Association which he served as its Divisional Secretary for Central Region from 2012-2021.

Madison has vast experience in primary care, patient advocacy in many areas including stigma reduction for vulnerable groups like older adults and People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA). He has been a health educator among students, in churches, work places, at retirement seminars and on various radio stations in both English and Fante since 2010. Madison has participated in free medical outreaches to remote communities in almost all regions in Ghana since his days as a medical student.

He currently consults for the Cape Coast Diocese Methodist Church Ghana and coordinates activities of home health visits for invalids of the Calvary Methodist Society in Cape coast. He has won research grants to work in screening of pupils for hearing impairment and on hepatitis among students. His current research efforts are in the area of elderly care and advocacy. He upholds custom and cherishes tradition. He is married and lives with his family in Cape Coast.

Nana Kwame

Kwame Ofori

Kwame Ofori is a PhD student at the School for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast. He holds a master of philosophy in development studies with a focus on rural development and gender studies. Mr Ofori is a development expert and has been in the advocacy and outreach sector for more than 10 years working closely with the rural poor. Knowledge in rural development and gender studies are now complete with the addition of Geographical Information Systems. Mr Ofori is vested in geospatial data modelling which is important for mapping poverty and other attributes of interest for direct and efficient program targeting. Poverty alleviation, sustainable development and achieving gender equity are of utmost importance to Mr Kwame Ofori in his quest to contribute toward the realisation of the sustainable development goals.

Bright

Bright Adanusa

Bright Adanusa is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He has over eight (8) years’ experience in Finance and Audit profession with a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He worked with VisionFund International, the economic empowerment subsidiary of World Vision International as an internal auditor where he led audit teams to perform various assignments including fraud investigations. He currently heads the Internal Audit Department of SOS Children’s Villages International, Ghana. He is a member of the SOS Children’s Villages Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAF) Regional Audit Team.

Bright’s area of expertise includes Governance, Risk Management, Controls, Financial Management, Project Management, Business Process Reviews and Reengineering.  He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA-USA), Institute of Internal Auditors (Florida, USA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountant-Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM-Accounting & Finance) degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

Bright is passionate about the holistic empowerment of the vulnerable in society and strives to make the world a better place for the marginalized and the less privileged.
